WHAT IS A KIEF SCREEN AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

A kief screen is a type of sift screen used to separate ground herbs from kief. An ultra fine stainless steel mesh screen allows the trichomes to pass through to the bottom chamber, while the bigger herb pieces remain in the catch chamber.

Our 4 piece grinder with a kief catcher features a sift screen and catch chamber on the bottom to collect those potent trichomes that fall off during the grinding process. The stainless steel sift screens are removable, allowing you to choose between fine and medium micron sizes.

    Fantastic grinder, but get the bigger size!

    I really love this grinder, but the 1.75" size is VERY small. For such a small grinder, it holds a ton of herb (I can get 2 handrolls out of one full chamber). I love the design and the way the top just glides! My only issue with the functionality of the piece is with the keef catcher at the bottom. It tends to twist off on its own, I wish it had a stronger magnet keeping it screwed in.

    The grinder is the best one I’ve ever had. It is a High precision product. The least amount of effort I’ve been required to grind herbs, and the best part is it doesn’t bind up at all. Long story short it’s worth spending more on this product than a $20 grinder. The cheap-o’s will start binding up after a few uses. I’ve used this new grinder about 100 times and it is a smooth as day one. Zero binding

    It’s the best grinder I’ve ever owned. Incredible craftsmanship & grinds superbly. Being made of stainless steel, it’s probably the safest grinder on the market for the medicinal cannabis users like myself who are concerned with contaminants, in our flower, like aluminum. Ever notice the aluminum smears on your hands when grinding with an aluminum grinder... I’ve experienced nothing like that using this stainless grinder. I highly recommend this grinder & compared to other grinders that I’ve purchased over the years, this is well worth the investment. I am actually considering getting a couple more. Thanks for putting together such a well made & health focused grinder.

    Solid, beautiful, and gets the job done. It took a little bit of time to figure out the best way to use this, but I'm now quite happy with it. The one key thing that I've learned is that you need to avoid putting anything in the middle of the grinding area. Anything put there is going to get stuck between the center grind and lid, and that interferes with proper usage. Best method, break up into smaller bits, and place around the center in a circle, grind right side up, and then check what you have. If you want a somewhat coarse fluffy grind, just go with this. If you want fine, it is best to turn upside down, spin until everything falls back through, and then you will get a superb super fine grind. This does make more of a mess though on the grinder top edges, so caution is advised. Overall, very pleased with this unit, and feel really happy that I dont have to worry about paint chips flaking off into my grind, or cheap metals wearing out. 4.5 stars. If you can afford it, get it.
