WHAT IS A KIEF SCREEN AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

A kief screen is a type of sift screen used to separate ground herbs from kief. An ultra fine stainless steel mesh screen allows the trichomes to pass through to the bottom chamber, while the bigger herb pieces remain in the catch chamber.

Our 4 piece grinder with a kief catcher features a sift screen and catch chamber on the bottom to collect those potent trichomes that fall off during the grinding process. The stainless steel sift screens are removable, allowing you to choose between fine and medium micron sizes. 

You can sprinkle these trichomes on top of a bowl, in a joint, or use it in cooking and baking your favorite meals and treats!

    Top to bottom, I've been blown away by IASO. Unreal customer service and swoon over this grinder. It's extra satisfying to use—buttery smooth, gliding with precision. There are a few qualms about how small this is—I think it's the perfect size, for so many reasons: it grinds the perfect amount for a single session (it feels like you are brewing some sort of artisanal small lot pourover); it stores easily, almost anywhere; the machining, weight and size make it feel like some sort of sexy spy gadget (people will ask me what it is whilst I'm milling with it). Point is, this thing is far superior to any grinder I've ever used. I highly recommend it. If you want a bigger grinder, get their bigger grinder. You'll never think about the price tag again—you'll be too distracted by how enjoyable it is to use.

    This grinder far exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a small, high quality grinder and I found this one mentioned in a “top 10 of grinders” on the web. I thought I’d give it a try and I’m not disappointed. It had the look and feel of exceptional quality, it grinds like a dream, effortlessly. The small touches like the angled storage section and the curved crystal catcher make it unique. It’s perfect for my handbag or pocket although it’s fairly weighty but that adds to its beauty. I don’t often write reviews but I am so pleased with it I thought I’d share my findings. I am in the U.K. and it came reasonably quickly considering it was coming up to Christmas and during the Covid lockdown.

    Yes it’s expensive, but seriously good investment! When you hold the product, the price makes sense, exceptionally well made and performs flawlessly. Plus you’re only gonna need to buy it once as it will last a lifetime. Have recommended to all my friends.

    I love what it does but it is so small you have to re load it to many times and the lid is so thin I can't grip it to use it. It hurts to use it. You need to make it easier for old people with arthritis to turn the lid.

    Very solid, excellent grinder. Extremely well made. Works exceedingly well. The 1.75 is a little bit small for my arthritic hands, so I bought the 2”, which is perfect. Someone’s getting the 1.75 for Christmas. BTW IASO is a great company. Great customer service!

    This is ‘the’ Grinder to own if you are smoking bowls, it grinds the perfect amount every time. The grinder is unmatched in quality, and can easily handle hash chunks.     Item works wonderfully and better than expected :) unfortunate that it doesn’t come in the magnetic box as advertised in every review I read before purchase and instead comes in a poorly constructed wooden puzzle box
