Factory Seconds are fully functional IASO products offered at a discounted price due to minor cosmetic imperfections. These may include surface blemishes, practice logos, machining marks, or other cosmetic irregularities that occurred during manufacturing or handling.

Every Factory Second is inspected to ensure it meets our standards for performance and functionality. The imperfections are cosmetic only and do not affect how the product works.

Our Factory Second 1.75" 3-Piece Stainless Steel Grinder offers the same compact design and straightforward functionality as our standard version, with minor cosmetic imperfections that make each piece a little different.

Precision machined from 100% stainless steel, this grinder has a solid, substantial feel despite its smaller size. The upgraded design features a deeper bottom chamber for added capacity while maintaining the compact footprint that makes the 1.75" grinder easy to store, carry, or take with you.

Sharp, diamond-shaped teeth create a smooth, consistent grind with just a few turns, while knurled edges on the top and bottom provide a comfortable, secure grip.

Our labyrinth seal design creates a secure fit between the top and middle pieces to help keep contents contained. A strong magnetic lid adds another layer of security during use and storage.

With just three pieces, there are fewer components to clean and maintain, making this a simple, dependable option for everyday use.

Each Factory Second may look a little different, but it performs just like an IASO should.

Three piece stainless steel grinder, 1.75"

This is a fantastic grinder, and the size is perfect for me. The teeth are sharp! I bought a factory second (because stainless steel grinders are not cheap), and there are a couple of extremely small nicks on the outside, and a small blemish - none of which affect how it works at all, and I really only found them by searching for what could have made it a 'second'. I think I really got a steal. This grinder works so well I think it will last a lifetime, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This is a fantastic grinder. Sharp teeth and just the right size for my use. I highly recommend this, and I would buy it again if I ever lost mine.

I READ the dimensions ( approx: w1.75x h 1.25), I knew it was small and I ? love it!!! This grinder is nice looking, solid and F’n sharp?. Very convenient and fun to use when I want a bowl (I only grind what I need to smoke). Canvas carrying bag and stickers are a fun touch- thank you! I also purchased the SS 2.5 and both are Highly recommended ?❤️

Nice travel size grinder can't fit much when grinding but adequate enough I use it for the dynavap.

This is one hell of a quality little grinder. Solid and lovely bit of industrial workmanship. Satisfying and heavy. It is a bit bigger than my current aluminum and only two stage, so a little nicer in the hand. As an individual user, I don't need to grind that much daily. I like the indentations for both the top and bottom sections, and the top magnet on the grind section is nice. However, it is still a little tricky, even with smaller hands to hold onto the bottom section while grinding and even opening up the bottom section, simply because the entire section is only as wide as the grip indentations, ~5mm, versus the grinder top section which is 6mm. Makes a bit of a difference. Could just be that I need to focus a bit on my holding technique, as there is definitely enough grip on both sides. I do have a little arthritis starting, so that probably impacts my ability to hold. Being so small, the holding section is also fairly shallow. Perfect for my needs, but ya do need to be careful when unscrewing it to get at the herb so as not to inadvertently spill. The screw action is buttery and beautiful though, and is quick to get on and off. With the SS there is no possibility of any anodizing or aluminum shavings getting into the grind, which is one less worry. I have no idea what the nature of this seconds is, but I don't see anything. Came in a cool dovetail wooden box. Classy. If I were more of a volume user, I would definitely spring for the larger, but this little wonder fits great into my little travel bag and makes me happy just looking at, honestly. It produces what I would call a coarse grind, which works for my vaporizer just fine and nothing coming up the holes of my ArGo. Easy to pack dipping into the nice smooth capture section. And an American company. Yeah, value added for me. Great job, all!

Pay for quality and buy once! Worth every cent if you are serious long time smoker or not. Grinds quickly, and efficiently leaving nothing stuck up top. Didn't even notice any cosmetic issues, which was advertised as reason for discount price. Highly recommend.
